Pay-per-hour - Archive Research Service - Experienced Genealogist

Pay-per-hour - suitable if you cannot visit Lichfield or Stafford Record Office yourself

Cost: £18.00  per hour
Reseach can be tailored to your needs and includes a written report.
Travel time, preparation time and mileage - FREE
The Record Offices and Libraries I visit are Lichfield Record Office, Stafford Record Office and Tamworth Library.

The amount of resources available on line makes it possible to trace your family back to the early 1800’s. A visit to a local Record Office in the area where your ancestors lived is required to research further back in time.

It may not be possible for you to visit in person. This is where I can help you. I have knowledge of what records are available at either Lichfield Record Office or Stafford Record Office.

To research your ancestors from Staffordshire, Derbyshire, North Warwickshire and North Shropshire contact Your Tree Searcher. Email: info@your-tree-searcher.co.uk

Pre 1858 wills for the counties listed above are held at Lichfield Record Office. Contact me for a quote if you would like a list of your ancestors who appear in the calendars.
Addtional fees:
  • Photocopies of documents e.g. newspapers, wills, Parish Register entry, Bishops Transcript entry
  • Prints from microfilm/fiche
  • Copy Certificates
  • Digital Photography charge by Record Office
  • Post and packaging
  • Email delivery: Free of charge

Please note: Fees payable apply whether documental information is available or unavailable. It cannot be guaranteed that documents have survived for viewing due to them being damaged, missing or difficult to interpret.Time will still have been spent searching whatever the outcome; success however, cannot always be guaranteed. In either respect a full report will be forwarded to you on completion. Confirmation that a search has been carried out in a particular parish will then mean that it can be discounted from future searches.
I have a list of experienced contacts that can research at Archvives that are outside my area.
